This project started with a rolling frame that I bought from a kid down the road for $20. It is a clapped-out Coleman CT200U.
The forks were bent, the tires were bald and flat, the rear axle bolt was missing and replaced with a piece of all thread. The bike had been poorly painted black (was originally red) and the other factory parts were gone.
For the record this is what the Colman CT200U looked like originally.
What appears to be a torque converter cover is actually a cover for a jackshaft. These bikes have a 200cc motor, 19x7x8 tires and a single rear drum brake.
We stripped the bike down and fixed the bent forks
Amazon supplied the new axle bolts, wheel bearings, steering shaft bolt and bearings, new clutch & chain, chain adjusters, rear sprocket, kick stand, chain guard and throttle cable.
A new Predator 212 was purchased from Harbor Freight
the bike ran pretty damn good
After working out the kinks, we rode both our bikes to Uncle Mike's house.
