Evel Knievel Tribute project part 2

 



After paint, I assembled the bike, I discovered the forks had mounting tabs that would be perfect for a number plate, so I bought a vintage Haro BMX oval number plate and printed up a larger version of the #1 logo. 


Here is the bike 90% complete.




and finished: I had a custom bicycle license plate made, it says "EVL SPIRT"



and the custom starter cover sticker.








I had to create a helmet to match, a Bell 500 open face with visor.

Note the "color me lucky" sticker, most, if not all of Evel's helmets had this logo. I also added a red rabbit's foot to my handle bars, another accoutrement that Evel always had with him.







First ride, my buddy dared me to ride to his house (about 5 miles away).
